Dr. Vernon Julius is the Medical Director of Mary Begg Community Clinics. The organisation has the largest health facility in Ndola and manages healthcare services for mining organisations in Zambia. He is responsible for the clinical operations of the three hospitals, one primary health care facility and six Mine First Aid Stations in the Copperbelt and Northwestern Province. He studied Medicine at the University Stellenbosh and has more than 18 years experience in Emergency Medicine, Occupational Health and Hospital Management. He manages the doctor development program for Mary Begg and has recently focused staff development in the field of emergency medicine using innovation and technology.
